BIOGRAPHY
*NOTE* The full band was assembled Feb 1, and started writing songs at that point. Recording was finished Feb 26. Mixing/Mastering was completed on Feb 28th.
Thomas Paine & The Founding Fathers are a psychedelic/bluesrock band from Palm Bay, FL. Until recently the band existed only as the evil studio brainchild of Jason Anz, aka Zombie Jesus and Jack Floyd, known best as The Legendary Sinful Chicken.
Since those early days they've added Vocalist Chuck Grosvenor, Bassist Kyle Stewart, drummer Akilah Rhone, and second vocalist Evanne Floyd. The band gigs regularly at the Gallery in Downtown Melbourne, FL.
Originally called Fertilizer, then The Zombie Jesus Meets The Legendary Sinful Chicken, which, incidentally, morphed into The Jesus Chicken they eventually stumbled upon the name Thomas Paine and the Founding Fathers after guitarist Jason Anz came across the phrase in an op-ed article.

The Common Sense Sessions(2010)
Originally titled "Common Sense", we ran out of time, so some of these are compiled from less than 3 takes, and the band only having played a lot of them 3 times. We renamed it to The Common Sense Sessions, so we could make the RPM deadline. The full album, "Common Sense" will be released Spring 2010, and will feature a much more solid mix, plus a couple extra songs.
